These are the most important concepts of knowledge and its management, in a way that everyone understands.
Also called a newsletter, it is a publication distributed on a regular basis, focused on one main topic. It is a channel that, well used, allows building a relationship of trust with the subscriber that can be the basis for future sales and a tool to develop common sense of belonging to a group of people.
Storytelling is using examples and stories to teach contacts about experience, talents and interests, it helps networkers to show their expertise. Networkers should be able to answer the question, What do you do? so that the experience is visible and memorable. Business storytelling begins by considering the needs of the audience the networker wants to reach, asking: What is it about what I do that my audience is most interested? And what would interest them the most?
Mentoring is a process for the informal transmission of knowledge, social capital, and psychosocial support perceived by the recipient as relevant to work, career, or professional development; Mentoring involves informal communication, usually face-to-face and over a sustained period of time, between a person who is perceived to have more relevant knowledge, wisdom, or experience (the mentor) and a person who is perceived to have less (the protected).
A mind map is a diagram used to visually organize information. A mind map is hierarchical and shows relationships between parts of the whole. It is often created around a single concept, drawn as an image in the center of a blank page, to which associated representations of ideas such as images, words, and word parts are added. Main ideas are directly connected to the central concept, and other ideas branch off from those main ideas.
Tandem refers here to a group of people, who work together to achieve a common goal.
A lesson learned is the knowledge or understanding gained from experience. The experience can be positive, as in a successful test or mission, or negative, as in an accident or failure… A lesson must be significant as it has a real or supposed impact on operations; valid in that it is objectively and technically correct; and applicable in the sense that it identifies a specific design, process or decision that reduces or eliminates the potential for failures and mishaps, or reinforces a positive outcome.
Rotation is a technique used to rotate your employees’ assigned jobs throughout their employment to maintain their interest and motivation.
It is a demonstrated ability to use knowledge, skills, abilities and talents in a specific context.
The future workshop method developed by Robert Jungk, appeals to fantasy and the power of the popular will, to take charge of their own lives and proactively contribute to the definition of society. The objective of the future workshop is for a group of people to gather in a certain place, within a defined period of time, to seek creative solutions to certain problems or to define future goals. The potential of the future workshop consists in the sharing of the various ideas and desires present in all of us.
